Kirsty joins the Equinox line up (January 09, 2008)
Equinox are delighted to welcome Kirsty Everett who has joined the group on bass and baritone saxophones.
Kirsty is currently studying for a masters in performance at Leeds College of Music - and is one of the few students to have specialised in the lower end of the saxophone family. She has made a special study of the bass sax and is fast developing a reputation for her amazing slap-tonguing, a unique percussive sound that really adds another dimension to the sound of the instrument.
