NewsKirsty joins the Equinox line up (January 09, 2008)Equinox are delighted to welcome Kirsty Everett who has joined the group on bass and baritone saxophones.
Kirsty is currently studying for a masters in performance at Leeds College of Music - and is one of the few students to have specialised in the lower end of the saxophone family. She has made a special study of the bass sax and is fast developing a reputation for her amazing slap-tonguing, a unique percussive sound that really adds another dimension to the sound of the instrument.
